The Bobcat Swim Club consists of 3 programs: Bobcat Cubs,
Bobcats, and Bobcat Masters. Each program is designed for
swimmers of various ability levels, from beginner to
advanced. You can learn more about each program by clicking
on the "Programs" tab above.
Here is a quick description of each
program:
- Bobcat Cubs: This American Red Cross
Learn-to-Swim program provides instruction for children as young as
6 months. Swimmers can progress through the 5 levels as they
become more comfortable with the water and gain confidence in their
skills.
- Bobcats: The Bobcat program is a USA
Swimming team. The purpose of this program is to provide
swimmers with the opportunity to develop their skills while
participating in competitive events.
- Bobcat Masters: This program is designed
for swimmers 18 years and older who are looking to participate in a
structured swimming environment. Practices are under the
supervision of a certified coach and are designed around the
individual ability levels of the
swimmers.
Beginner swimmer or seasoned
veteran, the Bobcat Swim Club has something for every ability and
still level. The club is under the
direction of the Aquatic Director for Ohio University Aquatic
Center, a Division of Campus Recreation.
